All Lit Up

The launch took place in the Muni Arts Centre in Pontypridd on Saturday 25th January 2003. The event attracted over seventy people and our audience included young people from the workshops, as well as teachers, librarians, social workers, family members and friends and local MP Kim Howells. Speakers included local celebrated writer Catrin Collier and Co–ordinator of the Rhondda and Taf Ely Young Carer’s Project, Rachel Wicket. The highlight of the event was the performance by the Young Carers of a rap and a story they had devised in workshops with Leon Charles and Richard Berry.

The launch provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate the work that had been achieved so far as well as to launch Poetry and Prose in Public Places.
