Launch Party Tonight

Acclaimed Cardiff author and Academi member Lynne Barrett-Lee launches her latest novel Barefoot in the Dark. Published by Accent Press, Barefoot in The Dark is a modern day twist on the Cinderella story.  It follows the romantic fortunes of down-on-his-luck Radio Wales DJ Jack Valentine, and fundraiser Hope Shepherd, the equally unhappy divorcee whose abandoned trainer he finds.

Lynne Barrett-Lee is the author of four previous novels and has lived and worked in Cardiff for the past twelve years. She also appears regularly on Radio Wales and writes a weekly column for the Western Mail Magazine.
