MCNA Writer’s Bursary


MCNA is awarding an £18,000 writer’s bursary to an aspiring writer (novice or experienced), who would like to dedicate up to 12 months writing a fiction novel. Applicants are invited to write about any subject, so long as it substantially one of fiction and imagination, and, the writer retains full copyright ownership over their finished work. The bursary has been designed for a writer who would like to work on a novel, however we are accepting applications from writers who would prefer to work on a collection of short stories/novellas.
