Beyond The Border, Wales’ International Storytelling Festival is delighted to announce the return to its spiritual home at St Donats Castle, South Wales this summer.
The Festival will once again offer a three-day celebration of world myth, legend and folktale featuring storytellers, musicians, poets, singers, writers and artists from around the globe. And all in the magnificent grounds of a fairytale castle overlooking the sea.
The 2007 line-up includes storytellers and musicians from Quebec, Canada and Native North America, and features the UK debut of internationally acclaimed French Canadian acapella group Les Charbonniers de L’Enfer “…among my ten most exquisite musical discoveries in a good quarter century” Folk Roots.
As well as stories from around the world there will be their usual mix of international music and cuisine, street theatre, workshops and activities for all the family, the famous Real Ale bar, bookshops, craft stalls and cliff-top camping.
