A match of a different sort will be taking place tonight between Wales and England and this time there won’t be a rugby ball in sight. This never–before-witnessed event will be taking place in Cardiff’s Millennium Centre rather than the famous Stadium where you would usually expect a clash of these two nations. Gwyn Thomas and Andrew Motion meet on stage for the first time tonight to discuss what it is to be a national bard. This hugely popular event will be chaired by the very first National Poet of Wales, Gwyneth Lewis.
