Cardiff International Poetry Competition Prize–giving Ceremony

The much awaited results of the Cardiff International Poetry Competition 2007 will be announced at a ceremony in Cardiff on Wednesday 6 June 2007. The winners will be announced and awarded their prizes over brunch at a unique ceremony in Brazz Restaurant at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. The event will start at 10.30 am and a continental brunch will be provided for all of those waiting to find out who has scooped the top prize of £5000 for their poem.

Join the prize-winning poets, judges and local literary enthusiasts as we wrap up the hugely popular 2007 competition and launch the 2008 Cardiff International Poetry Competition.

Following the brunch and reading of the winning poems there will be a creative writing workshop in the Wales Millennium Centre for all those who want to brush up on their poetry writing skills before entering the 2008 Cardiff International Poetry Competition.

Tickets for the brunch and workshop cost just £6.00 or £4.00 for concessions.
