Departure Terminal

Academi and Diversions, Dance Company of Wales, have joined forces to present a two-part, week-long series of interactive events offering creative dialogues and challenges to writers, choreographers, composers and visual artists. Departure Terminal, which is part of the 2007 Horizons Festival, includes a two-day writers’ seminar and a week of daily workshops with invited professional choreographers, dancers, composers and visual artists.

The writers’ seminar will be led by poet and critic, Kathryn Gray, and distinguished dance critic from The Observer, Luke Jennings.  It will include workshops on critical and creative writing and creative sessions with Diversions’ dancers to work on new ideas using choreography and writing.

Tickets: £60 / £50 Concessions
Venue: The Dance House, Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff
Price includes tickets for performances by The Mark Bruce Company – Sea of Bones, and the Dance Bristol Triple Bill.
