Make sure you’ve secured your tickets for this exciting event that will take place at the Guardian Hay Festival this Bank Holiday Monday.

At 6.45 pm on Monday 28 May, the Wales Book of the Year 2007 Short List of 3 Welsh-language books and 3 English-language books will be announced at the Elmley Foundation Theatre on the festival grounds.

At the event, John Rowlands will deliver an adjudication on behalf of the Welsh-language panel and Katie Gramich will present an adjudication on behalf of the English-language panel. The Shortlisted authors will discuss their work with Jon Gower and there will be a wine reception and a book signing session at the Literature in Wales stand following the event.
