Call for Participants – Intercultural Tour
The Anna Lindh Foundation in cooperation with Literature Across Frontiers, Solidarité Laïque, Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto & Love Difference and Goethe Institute Beirut has the pleasure to announce an open call for participants to the Intercultural Art Tour in Lebanon, Palestine, and Israel. The intercultural tour is part of the Cross Borders Project, the interregional dimension of Build a Bridge Campaign.
The Cross-Border Artists Group aims to promote inter-cultural dialogue in Lebanon, Palestine and Israel through the participation of four artists and performers from the Euro-Mediterranean region (two EU countries; two Mediterranean partner countries excluding Lebanon, Palestine and Israel).
The participation is open to artists between the age of 25 - 40 interested in exploring the relationship between creativity and social responsibility and nominated by one of the following networks:
- Anna Lindh Foundation
- BJCEM-Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean
- Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto & Love Difference
- Literature Across Frontiers
- Solidarité Laïque
Theme of the Competition: conflict resolution through art.
Applications will be accepted from individuals working in one or more of the following disciplines: visual arts in particular photography (black and white and/or colour photography), painting and plastic arts; video and drama/theatre; writing and poetry. Interdisciplinary approaches are welcome.
