A Suite for Summer

Academi invites you to the launch of John Freeman’s new book,  A Suite for Summer. This is a new collection of poems from this fine poet who "re-awakens a sense of wonder in us" - Kim Taplin.

John has written numerous critical articles on modern poetry and nineteenth–century literature and has published essays on modern British and American poets in various magazines. He has given poetry readings and lectures in Wales, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy. John was, for several years, a committee member of the Verbal Arts Association and on the editorial board of the Keats - Shelley Review. He was a winner of the 2004 Alexander Cordell Travel Writing Competition.  A Suite for Summer (Worple Press, 2007) is his ninth collection and his first since Landscape with Portraits in 1999.
