Bangor University Writing Day School
Bangor University’s Department of Lifelong Learning will be holding a Writing Day School on Saturday 29 March, 2008 from 9.45am - 4pm.
The programme will include two writing workshops, as well as readings from Welsh writers Christine Evans, Kathy Hopewell and Fiona Owen before a concluding plenary session. The whole event will be held at the Lifelong Learning Department, Dean Street, Bangor and costs £10 (lunch not included). Organisers advise booking early as places are limited. All writing abilities are welcome.

The theme of the day will be ‘Islands’:

We can think of islands as sites on a map, as settings for myths, and as metaphors. During this day of workshops, readings and discussions, we will explore together this fertile and creative theme….”
The event will be held through the medium of English
