Write Out Loud has a new website which is now live. The organization encourages all poets to share their words with others in friendly, welcoming open-floor read-around and open-mic events. Through their website, Write Out Loud also supports individual poets, as well as other organizations and groups across the country.

The website features performance poetry news articles and event listings from across Britain. It also offers a network of support through feedback, discussion and reviews pages, as well as poetry CV postings, sample poem and the poem of the month page. Users can post information live on to the website via the home page.

Write Out Loud themselves hold monthly open-floor poetry nights in Bolton, Wigan, Oldham and Rochdale, and irregular ones in Bordeaux. They have a reputation for attracting audiences, and are asked to support other organizations’ work such as tours, open-floor poetry events, major performances, slams and similar, for festivals and arts groups.
