 Word Up Poetry Evenings: Forthcoming Event in Cardigan

Word Up Poetry hold open mic sessions in Cardigan on the first Friday of every month. The next event will be held on Thursday 3 April and will feature A.F. Harrold as Guest Poet. A prize will be given for the best poem or performance on the topic of ‘April Showers and/or Baths’. The event will be held at Castle Café, Cardigan. Entry is £5, which will include food. Booking is not necessary: guests can sign in on the night. All are welcome.

A.F. Harrold is the most recent holder of the UK All-Stars’ Slam Champion title, awarded at the Cheltenham Literary Festival 2007, and he has a beard. What more could you want from a poetry night?
