T J Davies was born in Banbury and educated at S.D.D.C. Lampeter, King’s College London and Wolverhampton Polytechnic. Left Academia and tried hand at various occupations - teaching, accountancy, sales - usually with a conspicuous lack of success. Stumbled into Nursing in 1981 and has been there ever since. His short fiction has appeared in a range of publications over the last twenty years notably Planet. Cambrensis and New Welsh Review. Previous co-winner of the Rhys Davies Competition. He has written two plays The Butcher Bird, The Throckmorton Cypher a third one should appear later this year. He lives in Cardiff
