Marjorie Wynn

Marjorie Wynn was born and educated in south Manchester and moved to North Wales in 1964. She had her first success as a writer with the publication of several books for children in conjunction with her artist/illustrator husband. After a career in education she took up writing again and has been published in local and national magazines including Period House, Country Quest, Active Life, Eva, Together with Children and North Wales Living. In recent years Marjorie has taught Creative Writing with the WEA and in the summer of 2007 ran a Residential Creative Writing Course in Harlech. Marjorie has a keen interest in music and the theatre and occasionally sings with a traditional jazz band. She is also a member of an amateur dramatic society.
