Kate D’Lima

Kate D’Lima was Lecturer in Performing Arts, Writing and Literature in the Department of Adult Continuing Education, Swansea University. She studied English Literature at Kent University and gained an MA in the Teaching and Practice of Creative Writing from Cardiff University. She was researching Creative Writing in Health Settings for her PhD. Kate won a number of awards for her fiction writing. She was born in India, lived in Canterbury, London and Bristol before moving further west to Swansea. Kate D’Lima died in January 2008.
