South Wales Valleys Literature Development Initiative

Projects

The initiative aims to engage as wide an audience as possible in the enjoyment and appreciation of literature over the next three years.

The project will offer a wide range of events from Creative Writing Workshops to Author Readings, Poetry Events, Open Mic Nights, Conferences and much, much more.

To appeal to all ages projects will include:

• Texting
• Blogging
• Face book Character Creation
• Journalism
• Poetry
• Prose
• Song writing
• Drama
• Scriptwriting
• Graphic Novel Creation and more

Sessions will engage with traditional and new forms of media and could be happening in any venue in the Valleys from buses and trains to pubs and Leisure Centres.
