Read the Poem

I remember -
      working as a night-sitter for Marie Curie
     (people then looked after their old).
     I worked everywhere
     from Cyncoed to Splott.
     2 and 6 an hour it was.
     In Splott the kitchens were spotless.
     But we always took our own flasks
     To Cyncoed.
