I said I'd be sad if
she didn't come to Cardiff.

I called her a sensation
when I met her at Central Station.

I sang like a lark
When we walked in Roath Park.

I said I'd never met any one finer
In Rhiwbina.

I told her I loved her a lot
in Splott.

I said I liked having you
in Western Avenue.

But our love turned sour
over beer in the Glendower.

She called me a fool
in the Empire Pool.

She shouted YOU BRUTE
in Bute.

So we called it a day
in Manor Way.

The next time, she said,
I'll get an A to Z.
