Saga writer. Born in Birmingham, the daughter of Irish parents she was reared amongst Ireland’s rich culture. Married with four children, Anne was a teacher until an accident in 1990 put paid to her career and confined her to a wheelchair. She moved to Wales in 1993 and had her first novel published by Headline in 1998, followed by three more in 1999, 2000 and 2001. She changed publisher to Harper Collins in the summer of 2001 and had her first book published with them in October 2002. Anne is a Member of Academi.
