Byron W. Beynon was born in Swansea and brought up in West Wales. Bilingual, he has worked mainly as teacher in London, Cardiff, Norway, France and Australia. Since 1999 he has worked as a tutor for the University of Wales, Swansea. His work has appeared in a wide range of publications from The Independent, to Stand magazine, Quadrant (Australia) to Radical Wales, Landfall (New Zealand) to Poetry Quarterly Review.
