Poet, playwright, author. Afric Cymric Rhythmic Poet. Born in Butetown, Cardiff and of Cape Verdian parentage and African/Portuguese/ Arabic ancestry. Nicky is rooted in Wales. He is a freelance consultant for community, cultural and artistic projects/events and has 25 years of experience in initiation and development. A commissioning writer of musicials, plays, comedy, sketches and lyrics, he has made varied radio and television appearances on issues such as cultural diversity and arts and education. A performance poet and occasional actor, Nicky has contributed to various arts and cultural magazines in London.
