Malachy Doyle

Writer for young people. From Northern Ireland, Malachy lived in Wales from 1984-2007. He worked in special needs education for ten years and won a Northern Irish Arts Council Literary Award in 1997; an English Association Award for Cow (Simon and Schuster, 2002) and a Tir na nOg award for Georgie (Bloomsbury, 2001), both in 2002; and a Nestle Silver Award for The Dancing Tiger (Simon and Schuster, 2005) in 2005. He is a Member of Academi.
