Anna Kiernan is a Senior Lecturer in Journalism and Media and Cultural Studies. She is also a writer and editor, dividing her time between London and Llanglydwen. Anna has a MA in Arts Criticism from City University and a BA in English Literature from Sussex University. She has been a Feature Writer for Planet, The Bookseller, The Guardian, The New Welsh Review and Carlton Books, Editorial Consultant for Mencap, the Welsh Books Council and Simon & Schuster Publishing, Research Assistant for Private Eye, and Reviewer for The Times Literary Supplement and The Big Issue. Her subject specialisms are Arts Journalism, Welsh Literature, Publishing, Feminism and popular culture.
