Poet and short–story writer. Born in 1958 in Neath and educated at Llangatwg Comprehensive School. He is an ex–milkman, ex-miner, ex-MSC trainee, ex-inmate of HM Borstal, Portland and committed Christian. James does frequent readings in schools, churches, pubs, OAP groups & youth clubs, often with discussion of social/economic problems of South Wales and plight of the young unemployed. He has also done readings in rock concerts, supporting Billy Bragg. James’ work has been published in local press and magazines, and on BBC Radio Wales and World Service.
