John A. HarrisonFiction and travel writer. Born in Liverpool, educated at Jesus College Cambridge and Liverpool University, works as freelance writer and photographer. His short stories have appeared on the BBC, in New Welsh Review, Planet, The Works, and Collected. His radio programmes have appeared on Easter Island and Antarctica, and travel articles in the Daily Telegraph, Papagayo and New Welsh Review. He has travelled extensively in six continents including Antarctica and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in 1999. Slide talks are a speciality, John also has teaching experience from junior school to post–graduate. He was a  winner of the 2004 Alexander Cordell Travel Writing Competition.
