Writer of fiction and essays, occasional poet. Born in London, to a Welsh family, Raymond has lived in Wales since 1972. He has had numerous magazine publications in the UK, USA, Eire, Romania, Argentina and South Africa. Raymond’s poetry has featured in Staple, Outposts and Gealach Lan; his short fiction in Westworlds, Odyssey and Panurge; his non–fiction including a series of twenty essays on literary biography in Writers’ Monthly; and his essays in the Southern African Review of Books. He has a regular review column in Cambrensis, and is a book reviewer for Tribune and numerous other commercial publications. Much of Raymond’s work has been republished in Romania, and translations from Romanian placed in the UK and USA.
