Children’s writer and author of educational books. Born in the Rhymney Valley and educated at Cardiff University. Margaret writes books of fiction for children aged 6–14 years and related teaching resources for their teachers. Her stories are inspired by Welsh and Celtic legend. A former education lecturer and independent inspector of primary schools, Margaret has taught children from 4-18 years of age. She regularly gives bookreadings and writing workshops in schools and is an experienced INSET tutor. Her Writing Residencies include projects in the Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynon Taff. With her husband Alun, Margaret set up Apecs Press Caerleon in 1999.
