Jeannie grew up in Bristol and now lives in a cottage in the lower Wye Valley. Novelist and scriptwriter, she has bred and shown Irish Setters, owned and managed two hotels. Jeannie has written four books for Virgin’s Black Lace, eight for Headline and five for Orion. 

Jeannie has won the BBC Radio Funny Five Minutes competition, part of the New Talent Scheme. From the four finalists the listeners voted the runaway winner Second Time Around Winner of BBC Funny Five Minutes, New Writers Initiative.
