Born in 1971, a fiction writer and creative writing tutor. A graduate of Cardiff University with an MA and of Portsmouth University with a PhD in Creative Writing. A creative writing tutor at Bangor University on BA and MA courses and writing seminars for the general public since 1999, he has appeared at readings with Richard Collins, Charlotte Williams, Menna Elfyn, Jim Perrin and others. His first collection, Reasoning: Twenty Stories, was published in 2005, and will be followed by Valiant and White City. A regular speaker at conferences on teaching and the short story, he also publishes criticism.
