Alan PerryArts Co–ordinator to the Cyrenians Cymru. Poems broadcast on BBC, HTV, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation; recorded on two EMI records and published in numerous magazines and anthologies. Alan has read his works extensively in Canada and USA as well as in Britain. He won the Eric Gregory Award for Poetry 1970 and was a Writer–in-Residence at the Ilkley Literature Festival 1977.He also ran a major one-man Travelling Exhibition, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, 1993. Running Man (an exhibition) and Occupied Territories (a play), were both co-written with Lloyd Rees and were premiered at Ty Llên during the UK Year of Literature in 1995. Alan’s performance piece, Music You Don’t Normally Hear (based on his book of the same name) has been staged at several venues in Wales.
