Teacher, dancer and storyteller. Born in Trinidad & Tobago, educated at La Jeunesse Tutorials, Caribbean School of Dancing and Trinidad Tent Theatre. Mary has worked as a storyteller throughout UK and Europe in education and with the BBC since 1988.

With musician Robert Evans, she forms Bragod which aims to reunite the high art poetry of mediaeval Wales with the mediaeval string music which was its accompaniment.
