Catherine RobinsonAuthor of children’s books (pre–school to teenage). Born in Devon 1959, Catherine read Music and German at London University then joined BBC London working in Central Music Library. She has has several radio scripts accepted and broadcast by BBC External Services. Catherine moved to North Wales in 1985. Her first book Lizzie Oliver (Macdonald) was published 1987. She combines writing with some private music teaching and as many school/library visits as can be arranged! Writer–in-Residence at the Llandudno October Festival since 1996.

Eligible Writers on Tour subjects offered:

1. General author visits, i.e. showing my books, readings from one/several, general discussion, question and answer session
2. Exploring writing processes with reference to one particular book (popular with teachers Prior to Year 6 SATS)
3. General or specific creative writing workshop with children/adults

AGE RANGE: Primary (Year 3 upwards)/ secondary schools/adults.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Can drive, but non car owner.
