Poet, playwright and short story writer. Born London 1957. Don was educated at Lincoln College, Oxford. Has lived in South Wales since 1989. Don has had two volumes of poetry published by Seren; fiction and drama broadcast on Radio 4 and had numerous publications in newspapers and magazines. His work is included in several anthologies, eg Oxygen, A Swansea Anthology, Burning the Bracken (Seren); Mama’s Baby, (Papa’s Maybe) (Parthian); Best Short Stories 1992 (Heinemann). Don has given poetry readings, and read work on BBC Wales Today and Radio Wales. He was winner of several prizes in writing competitions, such as National Poetry Competition; Drama Association of Wales Playwriting Competition; One Voice Monologue Competition. Don has experience of teaching both adults and children, and is qualified teacher of adult literacy.
