Author, director. Anglo-Welsh. MA Oxon in English Literature. Member of the Garrick Club and the Dramatists Club. Founded the Hampstead Theatre in London in 1959 and the Bleddfa Centre for Caring and the Arts in the Welsh Marches in 1974. Has directed prominent actors in many productions in the West End. Has done several 10,000 mile lecture tours of America, and is an authority on ritual, leading workshops for the Schumacher College at Dartington.
