A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Norman teaches American Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Wales College of Cardiff. He is Chair of the Board of Studies for the M.A. in the Teaching and Practice of Creative Writing. Norman moved to Wales from Sweden in 1965 and has since published poetry regularly in Welsh magazines.
