Storyteller, public speaker, tour guide throughout Britain, bookseller, librarian, barmaid in Bangladeshi restaurant. Jan was born in South Carolina and has been a British citizen since 1998. She is founder and secretary of Welsh wells charity, The Wellsprings Fellowship/ Cymrodoriaeth y Ffynnondarddu.


Eligible Writers on Tour subjects offered:
1. Storytelling performances and workshops.
2. Bookstart and  family reading  programmes.
3. Storytelling specialities include: local history and folklore, melting pot stories, humour, watery well tales and walks, American history and folklore.
4. Will happily create programmes to tie in national curriculum and locality.
5. Welsh well history and restoration talks for adult groups.

Age range: 
1. For Bookstart & family reading programmes: babies on up. 
2. For performances and talks: 5 on up.

Special requirements:  A quiet, warm place.
