Clyde Holmes was born in London and studied Fine Art at Hornsey College of Art and St Martin’s School of Art. In 1970 he moved to North Wales to live, write and paint at a remote farmhouse, Cwm Hesgin, in the uplands of Snowdonia near Bala. His poetry and painting have featured in the BBC2 documentary Visions of Snowdonia. His poems have appeared in a wide variety of magazines and anthologies. Clyde is a Member of Academi.
