Geoffrey ToyeNovelist and freelance photo–journalist. Geoffrey was born in Swansea, and educated at St. David’s College, Lampeter, University of Wales and St. Peter’s College, University of Oxford. He graduated in Philosophy, and has experience of lecturing. He is a Member of Welsh Academy, a Founder Member of Welsh PEN and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. His first published novel, Diminished Responsibility (Langdon, 1990), was a bestseller in France and Germany. His second; Telegram from the Palace was written shortly afterwards but published in 2002 by Starborn Books. Geoffrey’s short stories, articles, profiles, interviews and celebrity interviews have appeared in a wide variety of specialist and general interest magazines. He is currently writing for the Yachting Press and is well–known especially for his highly informed articles on sailing, archery and high-powered air-guns.
