Originally trained to teach drama but has also worked in journalism and community theatre, Liz has been writing and telling stories for children for many years. She is a published children’s author for the 8-12 age group and has led a number of junior youth theatres, writing, directing and producing in Wales and south west England. Her books and stories derive from myth - the Mabinogi, Arthurian and archetypical legends - transposed into contemporary adventures. She has run interactive storytelling sessions at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, and featured at Hay on Wye and various other Welsh-based festivals and events including Wordzwork Wales Festival, Blaenavon Litfest, Machynlleth Children’s Litfest, Appledore Arts Festival and South Pembrokeshire Arts Network.
