Editor and poet. Born and educated in Lancashire. Neil was headteacher at Radnor Valley School, Powys between 1988–2003. His first anthology, entitled Thoughts Like an Ocean (Pont, 1997), was published in 1997. Neil was commissioned to write poetry for World Book Day broadcast on Radio Wales 2001 and 2002.
