Writer, Speaker, Lecturer, Reader and Performer, Pearl McCabe (pen name Sara John), was born in the Rhondda Valley, educated at Cardiff Art School and Cardiff University. She was Head of Costume at BBC Wales. Pearl was also a Management Consultant, Lecturer, Conference Speaker and Contributor to Radio. Pearl has now returned to her ancestral home in Pembrokeshire to concentrate on her interest in local history, art, property restoration and writing. Her book Seven Tales of Centrix, was published by Dinas (an imprint of Y Lolfa), in 2005.
