BELL, JACINTA

Novelist and short–story writer. Moved to Wales in 1994 with her three children having studied English and Classics at the Polytechnic of North London in the 1980s. In 1995 she completed her MA in Writing at the University of Glamorgan  and was a prizewinner in the Rhys Davies Competition for her story ’Tilting At Windmills’. She has done a variety of jobs over the years and now works for the Countryside Council for Wales. She has had her work broadcast on the radio and is published by Parthian Books. She runs creative writing workshops for teenagers and adults and has a particular interest in the short story.
