WILLIAMS, PETER GORDON

Peter Gordon Williams was born in Merthyr Tydfil where he attended Cyfarthfa Castle Grammar School. He graduated in mathematics from University College Swansea and was awarded a MSc for further research. He then served for two years in the RAF, followed by teaching in Further and Higher Education. In 1997 he retired from his post as tutor and counsellor with the Open University.

During the last few years he has had many short stories and poems published in various magazines and anthologies. He was short listed for the Open Poetry Prize at the Swanage Festival and has had a collection of his poems published in Peer Poetry Magazine. Peter has had three novels and a short story collection, entitled Mission Accomplished, published to date.
