GDALA, AMY

Amy Gdala is the nomme de plume of a Commonwealth philosopher (and writer on education and epistemology). She first visited Wales as a Girl Guide in the 1950s, always hankered to return and eventually moved into a tiny derelict 14th/15th century cottage in the Powys hills in 1976. She has spent the last thirty years rennovating the dwelling by hand, unaided by electricity or vehicles.

As well as the three titles in the ’Probability Sequence’ listed below, Amy has also contributed to Tales they Lose  (Superscript, 2003) and had a political essay on Plaid Cymru, globalisation and the EU published.
