KRAYER, STEVIE

Descended from Jewish immigrants and brought up in London’s multiracial East End, Stevie Krayer now lives in Wales and has learned to speak Welsh. Her previous publications include a translation of R M Rilke’s The Book of Hours (Salzburg University Press) and a collection of poetry, Voices from a Burning Boat (Poetry Salzburg, 1998). She is a Quaker, and co–authored Mae’r Gân yn y Galon: Quakers in Wales Today (Meeting of Friends in Wales, 1997).
