BEVAN, TELERI

Teleri Bevan was brought up on a farm in Llangwyryfon, near Aberystwyth and educated at University of Wales, Bangor. Her career spanned four decades in broadcasting, mainly as a radio and TV presenter, before her appointment as the first Editor, Radio Wales. She retired as Head of Programmes, BBC Wales in 1991. Years on Air (Y Lolfa, 2004) traces her long and successful career in BBC Wales from producer, editor, manager to senior administrator.
