JOHNSTON, DAFYDD

Dafydd Johnston is Professor of Welsh at the University of Wales Swansea. He has published a number of editions and translations of medieval Welsh poetry, and is currently leading a research project to produce a new edition of the poems of Dafydd ap Gwilym. His work entitled Llen yr Uchelwyr: Hanes Beirniadol Llenyddiaeth Gymraeg, 1300–1525 (University of Wales Press, 2005) was short–listed for the 2006 Wales Book of the Year.
