LEWIS, ROBERT

Robert Lewis is from the Black Mountains, in the Brecon Beacons. He has been a silver service waiter, painter, secretary, salesman, banker, web editor, yardcat, high–voltage cabler, housing oficer, mailboy, audit junior, welder’s assistant, and unemployed. At twenty–six, he graduated as a mature student from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. The Last Llanelli Train (Serpent’s Tail, 2005), is his first novel and was short-listed for the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for Comic Writing.

His second novel, Swansea Terminal (Serpent’s Tail, 2007) is on the Wales Book of the Year 2008 Long List. Click here for more information.
