PARRY–JONES, DAVID

Until his retirement from broadcasting in 2000, David Parry–Jones was one of rugby football’s best–known and most authoritative commentators. He was also a rugby correspondent and columnist for The Times and Sunday Mirror, and an anchor-man of news and current affairs programmes for BBC Wales.

The Dawes Decades (Seren, 2005) is his sixteenth publication on rugby football and related topics. Prince Gwyn, his biography of Gwyn Nicholls, was Rugby Book of the Year in 2000 and was also long-listed for the William Hill Prize.
